Westside stomps Kendrick, moves to 5-0

The Seminoles scored early and often Thursday at the Ed Defore Sports Complex, beating Kendrick 42-0 to remain undefeated.

Down 21-0 in the second quarter, the Cherokees (2-3) put together a seven minute drive before a fumble inside the Westside 20 gave the ball back to the Seminoles.

The ‘Noles added three more scores, and the defense completed a shutout.

Westside (3-0 Region 2B, AAA) hosts Jackson (2-1, 1-0) Friday, October 3.
