Sen. Kelly Loeffler launches COVID-19 resource website

ATLANTA (41NBC/WMGT) – U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) has launched “Georgia Relief and Recovery,” an online hub with resources for Georgia families and businesses impacted by COVID-19.

That’s according to a news release sent Friday by Loeffler’s press secretary Caitlin O’Dea.

Georgians can visit the site at garelief.com.

“As our state and country weathers this healthcare crisis, we must put politics aside and focus on delivering relief to those who need it most,” Senator Loeffler said. “Through this website, we are helping Georgia families, businesses, and workers identify information and resources to get through this global pandemic.”

“My hope is that Georgia Relief and Recovery will be a valued tool to help Georgians stay safe, stop the spread, and get back to work,” Senator Loeffler continued. “Together, we will defeat this dangerous virus and emerge stronger and more united than ever.”

The release says the site includes information and guidelines about health care, sheltering in place, relief for businesses, help for workers and assistance for families.
