MGSC scores 13 in one inning, cruises to Sunday afternoon win

COCHRAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgia State’s baseball team scored 13 runs in one inning Sunday afternoon on its way to an 18-6 win over USC-Lancaster.

The Knights sent 17 batters to the plate in the bottom of the 2nd inning, scoring 13 runs on 10 hits and four walks.

MGSC (4-3) travels to USC-Beaufort on Tuesday for a doubleheader before returning home Friday at 6 against William Carey. The Knights will also play William Carey in a doubleheader starting at 1 on Saturday.
