Fort Valley State announces changes to 2014 football schedule
The original schedule had the games set for 2 p.m. kickoffs on September 13 (Savannah State) and November 1 (Morehouse). Both are away games.
The Wildcats open the season at home against Delta State on September 6 at 2 p.m. The following week, they travel to Savannah State. They’re back at home September 20 to face Clark Atlanta at 6 p.m.
After their home game against Clark, they’ll hit the road for two straight weeks. On September 27, the Wildcats visit Benedict College in Columbia, S.C. at 2 p.m. and then head west to Tuskegee on October 4 at 2 p.m. (ET).
After their trip to Alabama, the ‘Cats come home for three straight 2 p.m. games starting with Kentucky State on October 11. They’ll play Limestone College October 18, and homecoming is set for October 25 against Paine College.
They’ll close out the regular season with two games away from home. On November 1, the ‘Cats visit Morehouse and on November 8 they’ll travel to Columbus to take on Albany State in the Fountain City Classic at 2 p.m.
