What to know before Warner Robins’ Independence Day Celebration
The city says a one-way shuttle will run from Middle Georgia State University to the event, but no return trips will be available

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The City of Warner Robins has released parking, shuttle and entry information for its 43rd Annual Independence Day Celebration.
The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, at the McConnell-Talbert Stadium parking lot. Gates open at 6 p.m.
The event will feature Kool & the Gang, Phillip Phillips and Middle Georgia performer Cam Vance, along with food vendors, family-friendly activities and fireworks.
Mayor LaRhonda W. Patrick said in May that this year’s celebration will also mark America 250.
“We are excited to bring such an incredible lineup to Warner Robins as we celebrate America 250,” Patrick said “This event is a long-standing tradition for our community, and this year’s celebration will be bigger than ever with nationally recognized talent, family fun, and patriotic pride.”
According to the city, a one-way shuttle service will operate from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The shuttle pick-up zone will be at the Middle Georgia State University roundabout. The drop-off zone will be near the south gates at C.B. Watson.
The city says the shuttle will only be one-way because of traffic flow, and no return trips will be available.
Designated parking areas include Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church’s grassy area, C.B. Watson School for ADA parking only, Warner Robins High School for pickup and drop-off, Pearl Stephens School for ADA parking overflow, Rumble Academy, Sacred Heart Church Complex, Middle Georgia State University, Robins Financial Credit Union, the Commercial Circle area and the City of Warner Robins Municipal Complex area.
The Sacred Heart Church Complex parking lot opens at 5 p.m., according to the city.
The city also released event entry guidelines.
