Five hospitalized after gunfire at Sparta party
Deputies responded around 3 a.m. Sunday to a party on Beulah Highway. The GBI is leading the investigation.

SPARTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Five people were injured after multiple gunshots were fired at a party early Sunday in Sparta, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a social media post, deputies responded to the party on Beulah Highway around 3 a.m.
All five injured people were taken to local hospitals. The sheriff’s office said one person is in critical condition and the other four are in stable condition.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Region 6 office is leading the investigation.
