UPDATE: GBI has autopsy results of 4-year-old girl found dead Sunday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – GBI Investigators are not releasing the autopsy results of a 4-year-old girl found dead Sunday morning.  Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says the GBI is waiting for the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office to finish its investigation.

41NBC obtained the name of the little girl through an open records request filed with Jones.  Her name is Carlene Rigby.  Her parents are Jason and Jody Rigby.

The call came from a home on Ivy Brook Way in Macon at 9:00 a.m. Sunday.  Parents told investigators Carlene went to bed around 9:00 p.m. Saturday night.  When her dad went to wake her up for church in the morning, he found her in bed with the cord from the window blind wrapped around her neck.

Lt. Sean Defoe with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office tells 41NBC, there are no suspects as of right now.  Deputies are working to figure out exactly what happened Saturday night.
