‘Teen Maze’ will help Hawkinsville students make good decisions

HAWKINSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An event set for Thursday, April 3 at Hawkinsville High School will help teenagers make good decisions and focus on graduation.

The ‘Teen Maze’ will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  It gives students the opportunity to experience the real life consequences of risky behavior in a safe, controlled environment.  Students in grades 7-11 will navigate through the maze staffed with more than hundred volunteers from the community, area businesses and schools.

The maze will have an accident scene, an emergency room and juvenile court, all designed to give students access to scenarios they may not see otherwise.

The Pulaski County Family Connection and the UGA Archway Partnership came together to put on the event.

Hawkinsville High School is located at 24 Red Devil Drive, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036.
