Saturday’s Juneteenth Freedom Festival moving from Tattnall Square Park to Douglass Theatre
The change is due to the threat of inclement weather.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Saturday’s scheduled Juneteenth Freedom Festival is still on, but it will be held in a different venue.
The Kwanzaa Cultural Access Center says the 29th annual event will be held at Douglass Theatre in downtown Macon instead of Tattnall Square Park.
All previously planned activities will still take place from 12 – 9:30 p.m.
