Sanitation workers injured in Macon traffic accident

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a traffic accident that sent two sanitation workers to the hospital.

According to a news release, 52-year-old Nedra Mack ran into the back of a trash truck on Treadway Drive in Macon, pinning two sanitation workers between both vehicles. The accident happened around 8:00 a.m., Wednesday.

30-year-old Quincy Joyce and 40-year-old Eric Hill were taken to a local hospital for their injuries. They are both listed in serious but stable condition.
