Deputies: Man arrested after gun fired into air on Mimosa Drive
Deputies say no one was shot, but a firearm had been discharged into the air

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A man was arrested Wednesday morning after Bibb County deputies say a firearm was discharged into the air in west Macon.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the 1000 block of Mimosa Drive in reference to a shooting call.
When deputies got there, they confirmed no one had been shot. The sheriff’s office says the firearm had been discharged into the air.
Deputies arrested 33-year-old Ridley Travon and charged him with reckless conduct and discharge of a firearm. Jail records show he’s since been released.
The sheriff’s office says the case remains under investigation.
