Five suspects arrested for Monroe County burglaries

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT-TV) – One suspect is on the run, four others are in jail.  It’s all in connection to several burglaries in Monroe County.

According to investigators, the group drove through deer creek subdivision, and stole several items out of unlocked vehicles, such as cell phones, a handgun, and a laptop computer.

We’re told 19-year-old Austin Nicholson, 19-year-old Christian King, 17-year-old Dillan Gilbert, and 18-year-old Jonathan Nicholson are facing a slew of charges, including felony burglary and misdemeanor theft by taking.  Jonathan Nicholson is also charged with financial identity fraud.

Twenty-three-year-old steven Buchwald has not been arrested yet.  Authorities say he is mostly to face similar charges.

After searching Jonathan Nicholson’s home, deputies also arrested 41-year-old Selena Sherell Nicholson.  She’s charged with theft by receiving stolen property and financial transaction card theft.  About half of the items stolen were found.
