Dublin City Council puts a halt on Theatre Dublin alcohol ordinance

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Dublin City Council members had to table their decision on special event alcohol sales at Theatre Dublin.

They gave a second read to the ordinance that would allow it on Thursday, and heard feedback from community members on the matter.

But, a very obvious difference in opinion between residents for and against has placed a temporary hold on the decision.

The next council meeting where they’ll discuss the ordinance is set for Thursday, June 15th.
