Bibb students improve in EOCTs

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County have improve in most subjects of End of Course Tests, that’s according to a news release from the Bibb County School District.

The Georgia Department of Education released 2014 results that show student performance improvements.

The improvement was shown in Economics, 9th Grade Literature and Composition, American Literature and Coordinate Algebra in comparison to the 2013 results.

Next school year the End of Course Tests(EOCTs) and Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests(CRCTs) will be replaced by the Georgia Milestones Assessment System.

The new system will include open-ended questions instead of a series of individual tests.
