Bibb Sheriff’s Office demonstrates steps to solve crime cases
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Collecting evidence in order to solve criminal cases begins with observation, according to Corporal Jimmy Culver with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Step-by-step, the investigator says he and his team check for suspicious activity, out-of-place items and follow-up by taking fingerprints at every crime scene.
Those prints are researched at the Bibb County Crime Lab.
Culver adds if an incident occurs at night, it can be beneficial to revisit the scene the next morning.
Culver demonstrates how he checks for fingerprints on Daybreak.
