Bibb County narcotics investigation leads to 7 arrests

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says investigators recovered six firearms, marijuana, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, methamphetamine, ecstasy, Xanax and cash.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Seven people were arrested after multiple search warrants were executed in a narcotics distribution investigation, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office says the search warrants were executed Wednesday by the Special Investigations Unit with help from the SWAT Team, Gang Unit, Criminal Investigation Division, U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Task Force, Houston County SWAT Team and Georgia State Patrol.

According to the sheriff’s office, investigators recovered six firearms, about three pounds of marijuana, half a pound of crack cocaine, a little more than a quarter-pound of powder cocaine, about three ounces of methamphetamine, 12 ecstasy pills, eight grams of Xanax and an undisclosed amount of cash.

  • Bruce Gibson is charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana; trafficking in methamphetamine; trafficking in Schedule II crack cocaine; trafficking in Schedule II powder cocaine; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
  • Roger Gibson Jr. is charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana; possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony; and possession of Schedule II crack cocaine.
  • Carnell Forrest Jr. is charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana; possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; and possession of Schedule IV Xanax with intent to distribute.
  • Quandarrius Harris is charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana; possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
  • David Pierce is charged with possession of Schedule I ecstasy.
  • Quintavious Randall is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
  • Jermaine Willis is charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana.
