Band of the Week: Perry High School

Brittany Dean,

This week’s 41NBC Band of the Week spotlight shines on Perry High School Panther Regiment.

Under the direction of Rob Ingram, the band has spent the season building its show, sharing only the first two movements with the public so far. Now, the Panthers are excited to showcase more of their hard work.

“We’re really excited to be able to show the back half of our show,” Ingram said. Audiences will have the opportunity to see additional movements during Friday night’s performance.

Ingram also expressed his appreciation for 41NBC’s Band of the Week recognition, emphasizing the importance of celebrating the arts and the impact they have on students.

“Anytime we can have the arts being publicly recognized, the more people that know about the great things that this does for kids, the better,” Ingram said.

Congratulations to Perry High School for being named this week’s 41NBC Band of the Week, sponsored by Young America Music Schools!
