Late 3 Lifts Georgia Past No. 20 Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- Khaalidah Miller hit a 3-pointer with 13.8 seconds remaining to lift Georgia to a 59-56 win over No. 20 Arkansas on Thursday night.

The win was the Lady Bulldogs’ second straight over a ranked opponent following a victory at then-No. 10 Kentucky on Sunday. It also marks the first time Georgia (13-3, 3-0 Southeastern Conference) has won back-to-back road games over ranked teams in 15 seasons.

The Razorbacks (14-2, 2-2) trailed by as many 12 points in the first half before rallying behind Lyndsay Harris, who finished with 26 points. Harris tied her career high with eight 3-pointers, six in the second half.

Arkansas took a 56-55 lead with less than a minute remaining on a jumper by Sarah Watkins, but Miller connected from 3-point range to put Georgia up 58-56. Jasmine James, who led the Lady Bulldogs with 15 points, added a free throw for the final margin.
