Band of the Week: Baldwin County High School
This week’s 41NBC Band of the Week spotlight shines on Baldwin County Band of the Braves.
The Baldwin County High School marching band is taking audiences on a journey among the stars with this year’s halftime production, “Talking to the Moon.”
Led by Director of Bands James McMillan, the show features music from Bruno Mars, Coldplay and Luke McMillan, all brought together through a theme centered around the moon and stars.
The production goes beyond the music, incorporating eye-catching visuals and props to bring the theme to life. Students perform alongside a giant moon prop, while a keyboard player takes the field with an oversized piano display.
From the music to the visual elements, every detail helps create an out-of-this-world experience for the audience.
