Deputies: Man arrives at hospital with graze wound after Pio Nono Avenue assault

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 20-year-old man was injured in an aggravated assault on Pio Nono Avenue Thursday afternoon, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The assault was reported just before 5 p.m. at 3753 Pio Nono Ave.

Deputies found no victims when they arrived. A short time later, the man arrived at a local hospital in a private vehicle.

Medical staff said he had a graze wound and was in stable condition, according to the sheriff’s office. No other injuries were reported.

The sheriff’s office’s Criminal Investigation Division is working to determine what happened.
