Bibb Sheriff’s Office offering civilian gun safety class
The two-night course is open to people 21 and older who are legally allowed to own a firearm.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is offering a civilian firearms safety course in July.
The sheriff’s office says its Outreach Section will host a Citizen’s Gun Class on Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28.
The July 27 class will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Outreach Office at 774 Hazel Street.
The July 28 class will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Training Facility at 1166 Jackson Street.
According to the sheriff’s office, people who attend will learn about gun safety and current gun laws. They will also have an opportunity to fire their handgun.
Attendees must be 21 or older, have their own firearm and ammunition and be legally allowed to own a firearm.
