Investigators say Michael Antwoine Hammond of Thomaston is accused of making sexually explicit calls to employees at businesses in Georgia and South Carolina.

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Perry Police Department has identified a suspect accused of making sexually explicit phone calls to employees at businesses across multiple states.
According to a news release from the Perry Police Department, the investigation began on August 28, when an employee of a Perry business reported receiving a “disturbing” call from an unknown man. According to police, the employee said the caller “made vulgar comments of a sexual nature while simultaneously performing lewd acts during the call.”
Detectives were able to trace the phone number used in the call and get a search warrant for its records. The investigation revealed both the source of the calls and their location. Perry detectives, with help from the Upson County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at a home in Thomaston, where they recovered the cellphone they say was used.
The suspect was identified as Michael Antwoine Hammond. An arrest warrant was issued for Hammond.
Investigators say records show the same phone number was used to contact multiple businesses in Warner Robins, Newnan and in South Carolina.
