GBI: Armed, dangerous Sparta man wanted on two warrants
62-year-old Stephen Russell Ellis was last seen near Island Creek Church Road. Anyone who sees him should not approach and should call 911.
SPARTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is asking for help finding a Sparta man it considers armed and dangerous.
The GBI identified the man as 62-year-old Stephen Russell Ellis. According to a Facebook post Tuesday night, Ellis is wanted on two warrants.
The agency did not disclose what the warrants are for or provide additional information about the case.
Ellis was last seen in the area of Island Creek Church Road in Sparta.
The GBI says anyone who sees Ellis should not approach him and should call 911.
