Bibb deputies: Man charged after Hillridge Drive shooting leaves another man hospitalized
Deputies say a man was shot in the leg during an argument in the 1300 block of Hillridge Drive.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 36-year-old man is facing charges after deputies say he shot another man during an argument on Hillridge Drive Thursday night.
According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release, the shooting happened just after 6 p.m. in the 1300 block of Hillridge Drive. Deputies say 36-year-old Lamarcus Parker and 25-year-old Jason Chapman were involved in an argument when Parker pulled out a firearm and shot Chapman in the leg.
A responding deputy found Parker nearby in a garage and took him into custody. Investigators also recovered the firearm used in the shooting, according to the release.
Chapman was taken to a hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
Parker was taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime against a person.
