Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Anna Watkins says deputies conducted a traffic stop on Juliette Road around 9 p.m. on February 28.

The deputy’s canine alerted on the vehicle, according to Watkins, and a search was conducted.

Watkins says the search revealed a black plastic bag that contained four large “shards” of a crystal-like substance deputies believe to be methamphetamine. A pill bottle with no label was also discovered.

“Upon further investigation, it led to the residence of Michael Lamar Hall, a search of the residence was conducted,” Watkins wrote. “Found at the residence were two large bags of suspected methamphetamine, a digital scale, a glass pipe and a water bong.”

Hall is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute Xanax, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of Tramadol, possession of Oxycodone and possession of drug-related objected. He’s being held without bond in the Monroe County Jail.
