5 Cities Submit Proposals for Music Hall of Fame

Organizations from Athens, Dahlonega, Dunwoody, Woodstock and Macon have all submitted bid proposals for the Georgia Music Hall of Fame by Friday’s 5:00 pm deadline.

They had to include a 5-year funding plan, marketing plan and staffing requirements to the museum’s executive director, Lisa Love.

The museum’s board of directors will meet this Tuesday at 11 o’clock to evaluate each city’s proposal.

Bibb County Commissioners and the city of Macon have each pledged $500,000 to keep the Music Hall of Fame here.
