Coroner: Man suffered self-inflicted gunshot wound during Fort Valley chase
Rooks says the timing of the self-inflicted gunshot wound in relation to the crash has not been determined.

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 27-year-old Bonaire man died Tuesday after crashing during a law enforcement chase and suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Peach County Coroner Kerry Rooks.
Rooks identified the man as 27-year-old Zachary Inglett.
The coroner says Inglett crashed at the Five Points intersection in Fort Valley. Rooks says Inglett shot himself either before the crash or as it happened.
41NBC has reached out to Byron Police Chief Wesley Cannon and Peach County Sheriff Buck Shannon for additional information but has not received a response.
