Woman critically injured after being struck by van on Houston Avenue
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision Wednesday night.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision Wednesday night.
Deputies say a 69-year-old man driving a white van struck a 42-year-old woman who was lying in the roadway on Houston Avenue near Charlotte Street shortly before 8:15 p.m.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she is listed in critical but stable condition. Her name has not been released pending notification of her family.
The collision remains under investigation.
