A torndaodo ripped through  parts of Wisconsin, damagaing homes, uprroting trees, and knoching out power for thousands of residents in Menasha and Appleton, Wisconsin

Menasha resdent Suzana Bibila recounted the terrifying moments the tornado ripped throough her town.

“The house started shaking and I was like, oh, this is really serious. So yeah, I started, I broke down because, you know, I was just alone.”

In the wake of the dangerous weather, neighbors are pulling together to support and rebuild their communites.

Severe weaher hit other pasts of the midwest including Illinois. Chicago was hit by heavy rain causing flooding.

Video footage shows cars stuck in highwater as some drivers were forced to leave their vehicles behind.

The storms were so sudden that two contractors got trapped in storm sewer. As of Monday night, crews managed to rescue one of the workers.
