Washington County Courthouse closed after employee tests positive for COVID-19

SANDERSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Officials closed the Washington County Courthouse to the public after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a post on the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the courthouse will remain closed until Thursday, July 16. Also, the county hired a private company to clean and sanitize the building on Wednesday.
