Warner Robins’ man faces five counts of animal cruelty

BYRON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies made one arrest in connection to an animal cruelty investigation.

According to a news release, 62-year-old Michael Lee Ferguson was arrested after deputies found a dog kennel with one dead dog and four others at 606 Giles Circle. Deputies say the dogs were without food and their water was green.

Ferguson is charged with five counts of animal cruelty. No bond has been set.

The surviving dogs were removed from the home and taken to a safe location
