UPDATE: WRPD says pedestrian struck Tuesday night has died

It happened around 9:20 in the 2000 block of Watson Boulevard.

UPDATE (6/9 – 10:45 a.m.): – Warner Robins Police say 26-year-old Shalynn Mack, the victim in Tuesday night’s pedestrian accident, has died.


WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  A woman is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night.

It happened around 9:20 in the 2000 block of Watson Boulevard, according to a Warner Robins Police news release.

Police say witnesses reported and video showed a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling west in the outside lane of Watson Boulevard near Budget Inn when a female trying to cross Watson Boulevard on foot walked into the vehicle’s path and was struck.

The victim was taken to Atrium Health Navicent, The Medical Center in Macon.

No charges have been filed.
