UPDATE: Missing man with dementia found safe in Macon

UPDATE: Bibb County deputies say Fowler was found Saturday in Macon and is safe.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a 75-year-old man who was reported missing early Saturday morning.

Deputies say Henry Edwin Fowler was reported missing by family members at 1:10 a.m. Saturday.

He was last seen around 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of Ashford Chase Court, according to the sheriff’s office. That’s off Peake Road near Zebulon Road.

Fowler is  5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 167 pounds. He is bald on top and has hair on the sides of his head.

According to his family, Fowler has dementia. The sheriff’s office says he is likely wearing a baseball cap and blue jeans.
