UGA confirms Todd Gurley done for season
ATHENS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Georgia tailback Todd Gurley’s return from a four-game suspension lasted all of one game.
The school confirmed Sunday the junior will miss the rest of the season after tearing his left ACL in the Bulldogs’ 34-7 win Saturday over Auburn.
Gurley finishes the year with 911 rushing yards and nine touchdowns, including 138 yards and a touchdown against Auburn.
The Bulldogs (8-2, 6-2 SEC) moved up seven spots in Sunday’s AP poll to ninth. They’ll host Charleston Southern Saturday at noon.
