Tips to organize your files
Willis says the perfect filing system is one that you will actually use.
She suggests using bright folders. You don’t have to, but Willis adds filing isn’t a fun task and bright, cheery folders can make it better.
Label your files in a very big print. You can use a label maker or write the labels. Willis says make sure it’s legible and easy to read. She also suggests keeping the tabs all on one side.
When you’re making the tabs, Willis says you should personalize them and label them with how you are going to look for something.
If this filing system is too much, Willis suggests using a small accordion folder to organize your bills and paperwork.
