Teen fatally shot at post-prom party in Dublin, one injured

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One teen is dead and another injured after a shooting took place at a post-prom party in Laurens County.

The incident happened Saturday, August 4, at Club Illusions located at 104 Union Street.

According to Dublin Police Chief Wayne Cain, 19-year-old Jaquel Robinson of Washington County was shot and taken to a hospital in Macon where he later died.

A second victim, 19-year-old Anteria Williams, was taken to the Fairview Park Hospital where she’s listed in stable condition.

Cain says no arrests have been made at this time. Both the Dublin Police and the GBI are investigating this shooting.

Though the post-prom party was for teens, Cains says many adults were present.
