17-year-old charged after crashing into Bibb County home
Deputies say the teen fled a traffic stop and was later found after crashing into a house.

JONES COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 17-year-old driver is facing charges after deputies say he fled a traffic stop and crashed into a home in Bibb County.
According to the Jones County Sheriff’s Office, on April 28, a caller reported a reckless driver on Gray Highway.
Deputies say the vehicle was seen swerving, speeding and cutting off other drivers.
According to the sheriff’s office, a deputy later spotted the vehicle on Joycliff Road and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver accelerated away.
A short time later, deputies located the vehicle after it crashed into the side of a home on Tarver Court in Bibb County. The sheriff’s office says deputies were not actively pursuing the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The driver, identified as 17-year-old Kyree Robinson, tried to run away but was quickly detained nearby, according to deputies.
He’s charged with fleeing and attempting to elude, reckless driving and driving without a license.
No one was inside the home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
