Showers possible Friday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –
This Evening
What has been an overcast and cool day around Middle Georgia (along with some misting and a few showers) will stay cloudy and icky through the night. Highs across the board underachieved this afternoon as most spots did not reach 50 degrees. It will be a warmer night thanks to the added clouds however with lows mainly hovering in the mid 40s. Wind will continue from the northeast at 5-10 mph. A stray shower or two will remain possible through the night.
Tomorrow
Friday will be another cloudy day however thanks to a warm front the wind will shift to towards the southeast throughout the afternoon. This should lead to highs largely in the mid to upper 50s Friday afternoon. Spotty showers will become increasingly likely in the late afternoon.
Off and on showers will be possible overnight as a cold front attempts to move through Middle Georgia but stalls out. This will lead to thunderstorm odds being highest early on in the northwestern counties. Expect a warm night with lows that are only a few degrees cooler than the afternoon highs.
