Second suspect arrested in Jibri Bryan murder investigation

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- 33 year old Damion Deray Henderson was arrested just before 6:30pm Friday in Decatur. He was wanted for the shooting death of Mercer University basketball player, 23-year old Jibri Bryan. Bryan was shot and killed Tuesday at a downtown gas station.

Bibb County sheriff’s investigators worked with the U.S. Marshals to arrest Henderson.

Henderson was at an apartment in Decatur and ran from officers when they attempted to take him into custody for the shooting death of Jibri Bryan.

He was caught in the apartment complex.

Henderson is being brought to the Bibb County Jail and is charged with felony murder.

Earlier this week, deputies arrested Jarvis Clinton Miller. A warrant for Miller’s arrest states he shot Bryan while he was sitting in a car and fled the scene.

Bryan’s funeral is set for Tuesday in Savannah.
