Restaurant Report Card: Jimbo’s Pizza Buffet
“It’s a cool place,” said customer Allyson Dowd. They have a lot more food and the people are really nice here.”
“After 43 years here, we’ve got a tremendous, loyal Middle Georgia base of customers,” said owner Jim Kiefer.
Jimbo’s is serving up pizza–buffet style.
But hold the pepperoni–here are your health inspection scores this week.
Great scores for some great food–much like what you would find at Jimbo’s Pizza.
And Jimbo’s been around the block quite a few times–for quite a few years.
“Right here, I think–I was told by the mayor that’s the oldest, continuously operated family restaurant in the city limits of Warner Robins.”
Owner Jim Kiefer’s food seems to have a mouth of it’s own.
“And you know, my food, speaks for itself,” said Kiefer.
Customers–as well as their mouths–will agree with him.
“The only pizza I like is pepperoni,” said Dowd. “I like the salad better, and the fried mushrooms is really good.”
Add another great topping on your pizza: the health inspection score.
“A lot of customers that judge that score in the window before that even eat,” said Kiefer. “And if it’s not up to snuff, some people don’t even stay. And that’s why we post it right there by the cash register so when someone comes up they can see it.”
They can see it, and so can I: Jimbo’s is definitely making the grade this week.
