Rain returns by the weekend

MACON, Georgia. (41NBC/WMGT)- Moisture begins to return this afternoon but rain holds off until the weekend.


Clouds will move through the Middle Georgia sky this afternoon setting us up for a mostly sunny day. Temperatures will continue their slow climb by making into the middle and upper 70’s. Overnight lows will be running much warmer than this morning. We will only bottom out in the middle 50’s under a mostly clear sky.


We stay dry as we wrap up the work week. Temperatures will hold steady throughout the afternoon in the middle and upper 70’s. Friday night football weather will be GREAT! Temperatures during the game will run in the 60’s under a partly cloudy sky.


A few showers are possible on Saturday and Sunday but better rain chances return next week. Temperatures will continue their slow progression to the 80’s by Tuesday.
