Race For The Cure to close roads in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office wants to let you know about road closings because of a road race.

The Susan G. Koman Race For The Cure is Saturday Sept. 26 in downtown Macon.

Deputies will close off roads that morning.

The race starts about 9 a.m.

The roads closed will be Montpelier Avenue at Carling Avenue, Coleman Avenue at Linden Avenue, Oglethorpe Street from Adams Street to Calhoun Street, Forsyth Street at Monroe Street, one lane of Forsyth Street from Monroe Street to College STreet, College Street at Forsyth Street and Ash Street at Calhoun Street.
