President chooses Museum of Aviation Foundation’s Board Member for National Defense Post

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A board member from the Museum of Aviation Foundation was nominated by President Donald Trump to the administration post of Assistant Secretary of Defense, Logistics, and Material Readiness.

Robert McMahon, also known as Bob, is on the board of directors for the museum. He also chaired the Georgia Invitational Golf Tournament for the past three years.

Chrissy Minor, President and CEO, of the museum said McMahon and his wife have dedicated many years to the Museum of Aviation.

“His demonstrated leadership, not only at the Museum of Aviation Foundation, but in Middle Georgia as a whole, shows that he is the absolute right person for this appointment,” Minor said.

McMahon also served as a Commander of the Warner Robins Logistics Center at the Robins Air Force Base. He retired in 2012.
