New Bethel Lodge 180 gives school supplies to East Macon students

New Bethel Lodge 180 members gathered in East Macon on Saturday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — New Bethel Lodge 180 members helped East Macon students prepare for the new school year Saturday by distributing supplies during a back-to-school drive on Williams Street.

Families received bookbags, notebooks, pencils and paper. Lodge members said the goal was to make sure students had what they needed to begin classes.

New Bethel Lodge 180 members say they’re grateful to be able to help whenever they can.
