Missing Rutland High School student found in Florida

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Rutland High School student who went missing this month was found in Florida.

A news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Joshua Dale Phelps was found in Deland, Florida Wednesday by the Deland Police Department.  According to the release, the boy’s mother was returning to Macon with her son on Friday.

Phelps went missing from the Bibb County high school February 5.
