UPDATE: Missing Milledgeville man found in Warner Robins

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The man who was reported missing on July 4th was located in Centerville around 8:45 P.M. A patrol Sergeant told 41NBC he had gone to Houston County to visit a friend.

Officers notified his family who proceeded to pick him up and take him back home.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Police in Milledgeville say a man is missing and they’re asking for the community’s help to find him. 25 year-old Rico Jamal Hooks was reported missing on July 4th by a sibling.

Police say he disappeared from his sister’s home on Lake Drive a few days before.

A family member told police they’d last seen him walking along Georgia Highway 22 toward Gray but, he was most recently seen near Riverside Drive in Bibb County.

Hooks is a black male with brown eyes. He stands at around 6’5” and weighs 184 pounds.

He is diagnosed with bipolar schizophrenia.

Anyone who sees Rico Jamal Hooks or knows anything about where he might be is asked to call local law enforcement or the Milledgeville Police Department Tip Line at 478-414-4413.
