Former Vice President Kamala Harris to visit Macon Thursday
Harris will speak Thursday before volunteers canvass ahead of Georgia’s final day of early voting.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Former Vice President Kamala Harris will headline a Democratic canvass launch in Macon on Thursday, October 29, ahead of the final day of early voting in Georgia.
The event is scheduled for 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., according to a public registration page from the Democratic Party of Georgia. A media advisory from U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff’s campaign says the program will begin at 1:45 p.m.
The exact location has not been publicly announced. The registration page says the address is private and will be provided to people who sign up.
Organizers say Harris will speak before volunteers canvass neighborhoods and encourage Georgians to vote for Democratic candidates. The party says it will provide training and that volunteers don’t need previous canvassing experience.
The media advisory also says Harris will join Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff for a mobilization event in Atlanta later Thursday. It does not list Ossoff as a participant in the Macon event.
41NBC has reached out to Ossoff campaign organizers for additional details, including the event’s location and whether Ossoff or other speakers will attend the Macon event.
Harris visited Macon in February during her 107 DAYS book tour. During that appearance at Macon City Auditorium, she said she planned to campaign for candidates during the 2026 midterm elections.
The visit follows President Donald Trump’s Saturday rally at Guardian Centers in Perry, where he campaigned for Republican candidates ahead of the November 3 elections.
