Middle Georgia cold case victim finally identified by police

JONES COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man who was killed in Jones County more than 30 years ago, was finally identified by police.

According to Major Earl Humphries, from the Jones County Sheriff’s Office, the unidentified victim was William Maholland from Fort Lauderdale.

His identity was discovered by Fort Lauderdale police through database that matched Maholland’s DNA.
