McDaniel wins Pure Stock race at Cochran

COCHRAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Wiley McDaniel Jr. won his first Pure Stock race of the season Saturday at Cochran Motor Speedway, beating out Corey Giddens and Bubba Howell for the checkered flag.

Parker Martin won Jr. Enduro, beating out Will Fordham and Ridge McCoy.

Other winners included Jeffrey Yates in Bomber, Jimmy Sharpe Sr. in Late Model, Tony Head in Sportsman and Kyle Conyer in Super Street.

The speedway will host the Georgia Showdown on Labor Day Weekend. Drivers from all over the southeast will compete at the 3/8 mile track on Saturday and Sunday.
