Mayhem’s Schiavo heading to Missouri
“This is what our league is all about, helping players get a chance to advance their careers to a higher level,” Mayhem coach Kevin Kerr said. “We wish John good luck with this opportunity.”
Schiavo, 5-foot-10, 180 pounds from East Patchogue, NY, appeared in five of the Mayhem’s six games so far this season. He has four assists, and is +3. This is his first season of professional hockey.
The Mayhem open a four game homestand at the Macon Coliseum on Friday against the Mississippi RiverKings at 7:30 p.m. There will also be home games Saturday and Sunday. The homestand will conclude on Saturday, November 21 against the Fayetteville FireAntz.
All of the games start at 7:30 p.m., with the exception of Sunday, November 15 which begins at 4:30 p.m. There will be public skating after each game, and on Sunday the Mayhem players will skate with the public. For more information on public skating visit www.maconcentreplex.com.
